# Load Shedding vs Proxy Browser

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Load Shedding at 100% against Proxy Browser's 75%. Load Shedding also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (4 vs 2). Proxy Browser's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 6) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Proxy Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proxy Browser has 2.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Load Shedding's written reviews are positive against 75% of Proxy Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
