# Nerva vs Forela

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Forela at none against Nerva's 4. Forela also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Nerva's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerva sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $99.00 per month. Forela asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forela holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7.
