# FocusBox vs Thang

The clearest difference is rating: Thang at 5.0 against FocusBox's 4.2. Thang also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). FocusBox's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBox sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Thang asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thang holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusBox has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FocusBox ships an update every 3 days, Thang every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
