# FocusBox vs Wish Jarr

The clearest difference is rating: Wish Jarr at 5.0 against FocusBox's 4.2. Wish Jarr also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). FocusBox's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBox sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Wish Jarr sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wish Jarr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusBox has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of FocusBox's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wish Jarr's.

FocusBox ships an update every 3 days, Wish Jarr every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
