# Ball Action vs Marbletron

The clearest difference is update cadence: Marbletron at every 4 days against Ball Action's monthly. Marbletron also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Ball Action's advantage is ratings volume (38K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ball Action sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Marbletron sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marbletron holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ball Action has 38K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ball Action ships an update monthly, Marbletron every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
