# EVA vs Game Emulator

EVA and Game Emulator both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of EVA's written reviews are positive against 42% of Game Emulator's. EVA also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Game Emulator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (651 vs 25). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EVA sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.49 per month. Game Emulator asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for EVA against 4.5 for Game Emulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Game Emulator has 651 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of EVA's written reviews are positive against 42% of Game Emulator's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
