# Akiles vs YeYeKids

The clearest difference is rating: YeYeKids at 5.0 against Akiles's 2.6. Akiles's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YeYeKids holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Akiles has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Akiles ships an update every 8 days, YeYeKids every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
