# DNS vs HD+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HD+ at 70% against DNS's 18%. HD+ also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). DNS's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DNS ships an update every 2 months, HD+ every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
