# Jack's vs Asian Star

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jack's at every 4 months against Asian Star's every 65 months. Jack's also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 2) and chart position (#210 vs unranked). Asian Star's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Asian Star holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jack's has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jack's ships an update every 4 months, Asian Star every 65 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
