# Jack's vs The Gridiron

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Jack's at 14K against The Gridiron's 12. Jack's also leads on chart position (#210 vs unranked). The Gridiron's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Gridiron holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jack's has 14K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jack's ships an update every 4 months, The Gridiron every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
