# Jack's vs Red Chillez

The clearest difference is update cadence: Red Chillez at every 3 weeks against Jack's's every 4 months. Red Chillez also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Jack's's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Red Chillez holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jack's has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jack's ships an update every 4 months, Red Chillez every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
