# BLK ALERTS vs MY

The clearest difference is ads: MY at none against BLK ALERTS's shown. MY also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months). BLK ALERTS's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BLK ALERTS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and MY sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BLK ALERTS against 5.0 for MY. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BLK ALERTS has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BLK ALERTS ships an update every 10 months, MY every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
