# FENIX360 vs OpenWav

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FENIX360 at none against OpenWav's 28. OpenWav's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenWav sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. FENIX360 asks for nothing beyond the download.

OpenWav holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenWav has 165 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FENIX360's written reviews are positive against 97% of OpenWav's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FENIX360 ships an update every 3 weeks, OpenWav every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
