# BluTest vs CORE Service

The clearest difference is rating: BluTest at 4.0 against CORE Service's 3.6. BluTest also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). CORE Service's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BluTest holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CORE Service has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BluTest ships an update every 5 weeks, CORE Service every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
