# ▶Teleprompter vs Praeo

The clearest difference is rating: Praeo at 5.0 against ▶Teleprompter's 4.2. ▶Teleprompter's advantage is ratings volume (533 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ▶Teleprompter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Praeo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Praeo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ▶Teleprompter has 533 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

▶Teleprompter ships an update every 3 days, Praeo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
