# Kickstroid vs Card Ladder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kickstroid at 88% against Card Ladder's 51%. Kickstroid also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Card Ladder's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (12K vs 50). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Card Ladder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Kickstroid asks for nothing beyond the download.

Card Ladder holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Card Ladder has 12K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Kickstroid's written reviews are positive against 51% of Card Ladder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kickstroid ships an update weekly, Card Ladder every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
