# CDL Exam Prep 2026 vs CDL Pro

The clearest difference is ads: CDL Pro at none against CDL Exam Prep 2026's shown. CDL Pro also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). CDL Exam Prep 2026's advantage is ratings volume (28K vs 5) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Exam Prep 2026 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and CDL Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Exam Prep 2026 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Exam Prep 2026 has 28K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of CDL Exam Prep 2026's written reviews are positive against 100% of CDL Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Exam Prep 2026 ships an update every 6 weeks, CDL Pro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
