# BriskNote vs Mem

The clearest difference is rating: Mem at 4.4 against BriskNote's 3.0. Mem also leads on ratings volume (129 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). BriskNote's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mem sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. BriskNote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mem holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mem has 129 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BriskNote ships an update weekly, Mem every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
