# MEW vs OMAH

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MEW at 37% against OMAH's 0%. MEW also leads on ratings volume (357 vs 17) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). OMAH's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OMAH holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MEW has 357 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of MEW's written reviews are positive against 0% of OMAH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MEW ships an update every 2 months, OMAH monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
