# ProApp vs DUX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DUX at 100% against ProApp's 65%. DUX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ProApp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (145 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProApp sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 3 months and DUX sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DUX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProApp has 145 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of ProApp's written reviews are positive against 100% of DUX's.

ProApp ships an update fortnightly, DUX every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
