# Lightspeed App vs WindsAloftPro

The clearest difference is rating: Lightspeed App at 3.3 against WindsAloftPro's 3.0. Lightspeed App also leads on ratings volume (54 vs 3). WindsAloftPro's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 11%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lightspeed App holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightspeed App has 54 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Lightspeed App's written reviews are positive against 33% of WindsAloftPro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
