# iLinks vs WriteGPT

The clearest difference is price: WriteGPT at Free against iLinks's $0.99. WriteGPT also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). iLinks's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On rating, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

WriteGPT is free to download; iLinks costs $0.99 up front. WriteGPT sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. iLinks asks for nothing beyond the download.

iLinks holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of iLinks's written reviews are positive against 100% of WriteGPT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iLinks ships an update monthly, WriteGPT every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
