# SOLARMAN Smart vs ChargerSync(legacy)

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SOLARMAN Smart at 45% against ChargerSync(legacy)'s 11%. SOLARMAN Smart also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 2). ChargerSync(legacy)'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ChargerSync(legacy) holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SOLARMAN Smart has 5.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of SOLARMAN Smart's written reviews are positive against 11% of ChargerSync(legacy)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SOLARMAN Smart ships an update every 2 weeks, ChargerSync(legacy) every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
