# Kaliper vs Centrios

Kaliper and Centrios both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Centrios's written reviews are positive against 50% of Kaliper's. Centrios also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months). Kaliper's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kaliper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Centrios asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kaliper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Kaliper's written reviews are positive against 90% of Centrios's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kaliper ships an update every 8 months, Centrios every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
