# Midi Libre Le Journal vs eBike

The clearest difference is monetization model: Midi Libre Le Journal at free with in-app purchases against eBike's subscription. eBike's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 68%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midi Libre Le Journal sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days and eBike sells 30 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Midi Libre Le Journal ships an update every 5 months, eBike every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
