# Lockdown Privacy vs linkbox

The clearest difference is review sentiment: linkbox at 100% against Lockdown Privacy's 33%. linkbox also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Lockdown Privacy's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (9.8K vs 10). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockdown Privacy sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. linkbox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lockdown Privacy holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockdown Privacy has 9.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Lockdown Privacy's written reviews are positive against 100% of linkbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lockdown Privacy ships an update monthly, linkbox every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
