# Lockdown Privacy vs OmniLock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OmniLock at 81% against Lockdown Privacy's 33%. Lockdown Privacy's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (9.8K vs 29). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockdown Privacy sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and OmniLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockdown Privacy holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockdown Privacy has 9.8K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Lockdown Privacy's written reviews are positive against 81% of OmniLock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lockdown Privacy ships an update monthly, OmniLock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
