# CKClock vs Flip clock

The clearest difference is ads: CKClock at none against Flip clock's shown. CKClock also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Flip clock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CKClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flip clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CKClock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip clock has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CKClock ships an update every 9 days, Flip clock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
