# Kickoff Personal Training vs Arius

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kickoff Personal Training at free with in-app purchases against Arius's subscription. Kickoff Personal Training also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 2). Arius's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kickoff Personal Training sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $169.99 per month and Arius sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arius holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kickoff Personal Training has 3.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kickoff Personal Training ships an update fortnightly, Arius every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
