# Broadcasts vs Internet Radio

The clearest difference is ads: Broadcasts at none against Internet Radio's shown. Broadcasts also leads on ratings volume (965 vs 169) and device support (6 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Broadcasts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Internet Radio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Broadcasts against 4.7 for Internet Radio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Broadcasts has 965 ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two.
