# Patchwork Explorer vs Riggle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Riggle at every 3 days against Patchwork Explorer's every 6 months. Patchwork Explorer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Patchwork Explorer ships an update every 6 months, Riggle every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
