# Session vs WatashiVision

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WatashiVision at none against Session's 3. WatashiVision also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Session's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Session sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. WatashiVision asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatashiVision holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Session has 5.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Session ships an update fortnightly, WatashiVision every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
