# 顽矩盒 vs 红火短剧

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 红火短剧 at 71% against 顽矩盒's 25%. 红火短剧 also leads on ratings volume (139 vs 1). 顽矩盒's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

顽矩盒 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 红火短剧 has 139 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of 顽矩盒's written reviews are positive against 71% of 红火短剧's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

顽矩盒 ships an update every 2 months, 红火短剧 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
