# Proptrooper vs Homebot

The clearest difference is rating: Homebot at 3.7 against Proptrooper's 1.0. Homebot also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 45 months) and ratings volume (120 vs 1). Proptrooper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homebot holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homebot has 120 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Proptrooper ships an update every 45 months, Homebot every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
