# Resize Image vs Chord Transpose

The clearest difference is rating: Resize Image at 4.6 against Chord Transpose's 3.2. Resize Image also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 5). Chord Transpose's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (43% vs 19%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resize Image sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Chord Transpose sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resize Image holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resize Image has 1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Resize Image's written reviews are positive against 43% of Chord Transpose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Resize Image ships an update monthly, Chord Transpose every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
