# Resize Image vs Frame Art Tool

The clearest difference is rating: Resize Image at 4.6 against Frame Art Tool's 3.1. Resize Image also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 36). Frame Art Tool's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (48% vs 19%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resize Image sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Frame Art Tool sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resize Image holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resize Image has 1K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Resize Image's written reviews are positive against 48% of Frame Art Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Resize Image ships an update monthly, Frame Art Tool weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
