# Resize Image vs Photo Video Resizer Compressor

The clearest difference is rating: Photo Video Resizer Compressor at 5.0 against Resize Image's 4.6. Resize Image's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resize Image sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Photo Video Resizer Compressor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Video Resizer Compressor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resize Image has 1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resize Image ships an update monthly, Photo Video Resizer Compressor every 24 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
