# CubeMelt vs Grumpy Goats

The clearest difference is rating: Grumpy Goats at 5.0 against CubeMelt's 4.8. CubeMelt's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CubeMelt sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Grumpy Goats sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grumpy Goats holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CubeMelt has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CubeMelt ships an update every 5 weeks, Grumpy Goats every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
