# HC Admin vs Brother Mobile Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Brother Mobile Connect at 4.6 against HC Admin's 3.8. Brother Mobile Connect also leads on ratings volume (78K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). HC Admin's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brother Mobile Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brother Mobile Connect has 78K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of HC Admin's written reviews are positive against 42% of Brother Mobile Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HC Admin ships an update every 2 months, Brother Mobile Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
