# My Ivation vs BN

My Ivation and BN both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 32% of My Ivation's written reviews are positive against 19% of BN's. BN's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 264). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BN has 1.9K ratings behind it against 264, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of My Ivation's written reviews are positive against 19% of BN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Ivation ships an update every 8 months, BN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
