# My Ivation vs GeniLife

The clearest difference is rating: My Ivation at 4.5 against GeniLife's 2.0. My Ivation also leads on ratings volume (265 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). GeniLife's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (41% vs 32%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My Ivation holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Ivation has 265 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of My Ivation's written reviews are positive against 41% of GeniLife's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Ivation ships an update every 8 months, GeniLife every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
