# HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®) vs TrickleStar App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TrickleStar App at 100% against HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®)'s 13%. TrickleStar App also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®)'s advantage is rating (3.6 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®) holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®) has 4.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®)'s written reviews are positive against 100% of TrickleStar App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HunterSMART™ (SIMPLEconnect®) ships an update every 6 weeks, TrickleStar App every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
