# Badger Connect vs Scoir

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scoir at weekly against Badger Connect's every 2 months. Scoir also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 13) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Badger Connect's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 24%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scoir holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoir has 6.2K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Badger Connect's written reviews are positive against 24% of Scoir's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Badger Connect ships an update every 2 months, Scoir weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
