# Series 65 Exam Center vs CFP Practice Test Pro

Series 65 Exam Center and CFP Practice Test Pro are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Series 65 Exam Center sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and CFP Practice Test Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Series 65 Exam Center ships an update every 3 months, CFP Practice Test Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
