# Fr. vs Eirloom

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eirloom at 100% against Fr.'s 56%. Eirloom also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0). Fr.'s advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fr. sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Eirloom sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eirloom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fr. has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of Fr.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Eirloom's.

Fr. ships an update weekly, Eirloom every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
