# Spring Creek Barbeque vs Flytrex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flytrex at every 6 weeks against Spring Creek Barbeque's every 7 months. Flytrex also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 247). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flytrex holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flytrex has 2.3K ratings behind it against 247, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Spring Creek Barbeque's written reviews are positive against 71% of Flytrex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spring Creek Barbeque ships an update every 7 months, Flytrex every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
