# WesternU Orientation vs Booster Prep

WesternU Orientation and Booster Prep both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Booster Prep's written reviews are positive against 0% of WesternU Orientation's. Booster Prep also leads on ratings volume (725 vs 2). WesternU Orientation's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Booster Prep sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. WesternU Orientation asks for nothing beyond the download.

WesternU Orientation holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Booster Prep has 725 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of WesternU Orientation's written reviews are positive against 61% of Booster Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WesternU Orientation ships an update weekly, Booster Prep fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
