# Smart DNS Proxy vs SwizzVPN

The clearest difference is rating: SwizzVPN at 4.6 against Smart DNS Proxy's 3.0. SwizzVPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (63% vs 31%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart DNS Proxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SwizzVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SwizzVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwizzVPN has 166 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of Smart DNS Proxy's written reviews are positive against 63% of SwizzVPN's.

Smart DNS Proxy ships an update monthly, SwizzVPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
