# Smart DNS Proxy vs DNS Changer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DNS Changer at 96% against Smart DNS Proxy's 31%. DNS Changer also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). Smart DNS Proxy's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart DNS Proxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and DNS Changer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
