# 快连VPN vs LeapVPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: 快连VPN at free with in-app purchases against LeapVPN's subscription. 快连VPN also leads on ratings volume (60K vs 4.4K) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). LeapVPN's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 37%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 快连VPN sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and LeapVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

快连VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 快连VPN has 60K ratings behind it against 4.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of 快连VPN's written reviews are positive against 62% of LeapVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

快连VPN ships an update every 5 weeks, LeapVPN every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
